Dunkin Binge

We have only four days left in Boston so we are binging on all things local. It's amazing the things that you realize you're going to miss when you are faced with moving far, far, away for an extended period of time. I have pretty much given up on any attempt at being healthy with the excuse that - I'll be really healthy when we get to Australia & who knows when I'll get the opportunity to eat (insert terrible food here) again!

I had pizza for breakfast (two slices) and am washing it down with a medium iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts. There is no Dunkin in Australia and definitely no iced coffee (how we know it). When Sean and I were there in March I ordered an iced coffee from some little stand and got a coffee (lukewarm) with a scoop of ice cream on top, somehow the combination of coffee and ice cream wasn't good. So, obviously for my last week in Boston I should stop at D&D every time I am thirsty/bored/tired/stressed/insert adjective.

In addition to getting lots of iced coffee we are using our leaving as an excuse to drink a lot of beer. We learned that beer is VERY expensive in Oz. A six pack of the cheapest beer you can get is about $16 so while we are in the US Sean is splurging on VT micro brews. We stopped at the liquor store yesterday and spent $100 (for a get together) and practically did a victory dance when we looked at our full shopping cart - they are practically giving it away in the US! We would be crazy not to take advantage.
